The complete book of Widows Mark dagger

no rogue who intends to use the spyder's traps should go without 1 or 2 of these little babies. I will list out how to get them, and also what is required to increase their damage.

The quest for the Widows mark starts in an alley within mithrilfin, a Dwarf named Grimwell resides here and will ask you to bring him 3 items
- ancient stone sliver ( take a stone weapon to the smith in Xblades, whisper shhhhh and a door will open, use anvil to convert any stone weapon into sliver )
- Yasson's amulet ( north of X blades you will see the Ranger Yasson wandering the road, do his quest and he will give you the amulet )
- Iron Ring ( inside ganthol Labrynth there are iron golems, collect 3 scrap irons from them, go to the forge and create your iron ring.

in Order to get 2 widows marks, you will need to collect all 3 of these items again, ( use a second character to do the Yasson quest again).. talk to DM they will hook you up or.. you can just bank your amulet with that toon and grab it with another since the amulet can be droped.

Grimwell also has an upgrade quest to upgrade your widows marks, I recomend you waiting untill you are well wished up, and bring a bard friend with you for a skill whistle, the upgrade is based off your skills, so if your skill points are too low to make the Widows mark +20, you will want to do that upgrade again when you are stronger.

The Widows Mark is the focal item for Spyder traps ( See the book about Spyder traps ), however the Widows mark as a mele weapon can be enhanced by many things.

skills that enhance: hide, move silent, set trap, disable trap, open lock, tumble, spot, search.

all these skills enhance the widows mark's special sneak attack damage.

NOTE: 1 handed widows mark enables a surprise Thrust attack, along with the sneak attacks at a /6 modifier of all skills added up
          Dual wield 2 widows marks enables dual handed attack special and the sneak attacks are /4 modifier of all skills added, this is a substantial increase

Rogue, Assassin, shadowdancer levels indirectly increase your dagger damage due to fact that the combined lvl of these 3 classes dictate how strong your Digitz equipment will be, thus better skill bonuses.
