Silver Ring Help!?!?

I was on last night and got everything I needed to make the silver ring. When I was using the forge, I put in the silvers and clicked on the lever. Nothing happened and so I clicked on the lever again. Due to lag, the lever was triggered and then again. While the forge window was open, I saw the ring enter into the window. Then the lever triggered again and it was destroyed. It gave me the message that '....nothing magical happened'.

I will try to work on a new one, but just wanted to let you know that this happened.
