Mithril Heart of Aurum’s Heart Tool

So you did it, you went all the way to Aurum's Sanctum, slaughtered all four Aurum's Souls at that area (and a few extra Aurum’s Clones); you went down to Aurum's Deepest Darkest Sanctum and somehow you managed to kill all the Elderkinds there and defeated not only Aurum's lady friends of distracted morals but Aurum himself! Congratulations! That's big, and deserves a big reward. And I’m not talking about that Greater Wish, nor those Golden Nuggets, neither the millions in gold you got down there. I’m talking, from the bottom of the heart, about the Mithril Around Aurum's Heart.
Yes, you can use that mithril in several ways to improve some of your gear with a little help from the dwarfs at Mithrilfin, but hold on. You are still at Aurum's Deepest Darkest Sanctum, right? And you did deactivate the perimeter rune pillars, of course. Then go back south and check that weird tree close to the entry, between the two podiums (but carefully, you don't want respawned Aurum’s Clones to catch you unguarded)
As you go closer to the tree, you can feel it calling you, I would even say you can see the branches trying to reach you: don’t worry, they don’t want you, they want the mithril around Aurum's heart. Give it to the tree without hesitation and the tree will give you back the Mithril Heart of Aurum’s Heart tool. That little piece of metal has extraordinary proprieties that can increase your combat skills significantly. The more hearts you give to the tree (up to a maximum of ten), the more the tool improves, let’s see:

Level 1-3
+200 Hit points
AB bonus: +5
Duration: 10 minutes

Level 4-7
+400 Hit points
AB bonus: +6
AC bonus: +10
Regeneration: Character LVL/4 (so 10 regen at level 40)
Duration: 20 minutes

Level 8-10
+600 Hit points
AB bonus: +10
AC bonus: +10
Regeneration: Character LVL/2 (so 20 regen at level 40)
Skills increment: Character LVL/4 (so +10 to all skills at level 40)
Duration: 20 minutes

So keep doing it, my friend. Get all those hearts and give them to the tree, you will be not disappointed.

PS1:
There's no difference with the tool being level 8 or 10, so 8 hearts are enough to reach the maximum bonuses

PS2:
Some bonuses stack with Merappi Dragoneye’s Lasting Inspiration. Let’s say you are a level 40 character with a level 8-10 Mithril Heart of Aurum’s Heart tool and a level 20 Dragoneye’s Lasting Inspiration, using both you'll get for 5 minutes (the duration of the Dragoneye’s Lasting Inspiration):

1000+600= +1600 hit points
20+20 regeneration
40+10 = +50 skill bonus to Concentration
40+10 = +50 skill bonus to Spellcraft

After those 5 minutes the Dragoneye’s Lasting Inspiration effect will fade, but the Mithril Heart of Aurum’s Heart effect will last for another 15 minutes.
