Some Superb Spell Selections for the Stupendous Spell Sequencers

Tired of those wizards killing their opponents through damage shields without even touching them ?
Can't get your sorcerer friend to cast some awesome spells on you and your favorite weapon ?
Can't even see where the bard disappeared *again* because they keep casting Improved Invisibility ?

Are you jealous ? Do you want to do the same ?

Don't despair ! For a mere quarter million gold, you, too, can pretend to be a mage !

Simply present yourself to the Private Shop, flaunt your Champion status, and buy some Heart Sequencers.

You still need a way to charge them with spells, of course.
Which either mean grabbing your nearest friendly spellcaster, or having access to scroll casting (through Use Magic Device).

You can then use your selected spells on the sequencers, but keep the following in mind :
- The spell has to be defensive in nature, because sequencers, when used, target the user. No, you can't fireball yourself with those, so don't ask !
- The spell will always be cast at caster level 10. Yes, that's lousy compared to your spellcaster friends. Too bad, maybe you should've played a mage after all !
- The spells on Heart Sequencers can't be changed later. Don't mess up, or face buyer's regret !

A few recommendations :
- Get at least one, preferably two Damage Shield Sequencers : Death Armor, Elemental Shield, Mestil's Acid Sheath/Whispering Wounds. It can and will help to defeat opponents that are yet out of your reach.
- Get at least one sequencers with Improved Invisibility, to cut physical damage attacks in half. I recommend to combine this one with at least Shadow Shield (+5 Natural AC and Negative Energy Protection), and possibly True Sight, if you don't have an item with the property yet.
- Get at least one sequencer with Greater Sanctuary. It will always be useful to skip boring, annoying, or unkillable opponents.

There's many other possibilities, and you can experiment as much as you want.
A simple but effective one is Bless and Aid. +2AB for 10 min will almost always be useful. One can never have to much Attack Bonus. Except those damn mages, maybe.

There are other spell sequencer items available, but none as easy to reach and as practical as the Heart Sequencers.


Do note that after all those efforts, you'll still be jealous of your mage friends.
At the very least, they can blind you with hellball spam, and you can't !
