Plane of the Elderkind, Metals, and their potential

If you've ever ventured to the Plane of the Elderkind and stumbled into some of the portals, you will realize that this area gives access to the lairs of many different dragons. While the cardinal directions may not line up exactly, the following descriptions should give you a general idea of where to find different dragons.

Melomine
Location: NW corner, northern most portal
Drops: Black Cap
Minions: Claw

Brazen
Location: NW corner, western most portal
Drops: Piece of Brass, Dagger +3, Broken Sword, Diamond
Minions: Void, Dark, Light, Claw, Stone, Swarm, Fist, Blade
Note: Once you enter here you must kill at least one rooms to get back out. You will be placed in 1 of 4 rooms and the exit portal is not found in that room.

Azul
Location: Far East
Drops: Cloak of Azul
Minions: Stone, Light, Dark
Note: You will need some lock picking skills to make it through here

Blancos
Location: North, in the middle
Drops: Velvet gloves, Iron Fist, Diamonds
Minions: Mostly Fists, but the occasional Light, Dark, and Stone are known to hang out here too.
Note: Take some dispel magic with you, the Fists like to make you stay put for a long time!

Grege
Location: NE corner
Drops: Piece of Bronze, Egg-Shaped Crystals
Minions: Light, Dark, Swarm, Stone, Claw, Shaft, Blade

Emerude
Location: East, about 1/3 of the way down the map from the top. Next portal south of Grege
Drops: Parts to the Rod of 7 Parts, Large Emerald
Minions: Stick, Stone, Shaft

Argentum
Location: Eastern Wall, Southeast of the Emerude portal
Drops: Dagger +3, Piece of Silver, Speakers Haven Runes
Minions: Blade, Dark, Shaft, Claw
Note: There are pillars here that need to be killed, You will need items with spells, or be able to cast spells, to destroy them. I suggest something like a Greater Wish or the Light Sabre for this. The pickets take about 110 dmg to destroy.

Cuporus
Location: SE corner
Drops: Snipers Bow, Copper Ingot, Shroud of Cuporus
Minions: Shaft, Stone

Carnelian
Location:SE corner, but West of the Cuporus portal
Drops: Steel weapons, Ruby Sash, Garnet Sash, Agate Sash, Carnelian Sash.
Minions: Everything that is in the other planes
Note: Must be level 20 to enter and have 1 item from each plane to progress.

Aurum
Location: Center of the map (north of center a little) with all the check marks
Note: For more information here, refer to the book "Plane of Aurum".


Special note: Many of the dragon drops are just plain gear: gloves, helmet, etc. The metals however, can be combined in sets of 3 to create even better gear:

Bronze boots: need 9 total pieces of Bronze
Copper Armor: Need 3 total pieces of Copper
Pure Silver Ring: Need 9 total pieces of Silver
Brass Dagger: Need 9 total pieces of Brass

These items are required for you to enter the Heart of Destruction.
