when I grow up........a guide to the dungeon crawl
If one is powerful enough, you may be able to join a group of adventurers doing a raid on all the major dungeons of 12DS. These "dungeon crawl" as they have been named, involve but are not limited to the areas known as:Ocean of the source, Death, and DDS, the other places that have been done are the Drow, Giants and the entire UW.
When do these events occur, you ask? Well the answer is every other Friday at 3 PM EST, but as of now this is not written in stone, it could possibly change to the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, or stay as is.
What are the requirements to join in, you ask? The answer is quite simple, just have the ability to get there. For the Source, that means having the beta pillar, or being able to walk with a group of adventurers from the beginning of smokey caverns to the beta pillar. For death, it means having all the UW keys or being willing to go hunting for all the UW keys. For DDS? Can be a little harder to do, since one must be level 20 or higher to enter DDS, but once again, it is just being able to get there is all that is required.
What classes are good to play, you ask? The answer is even more simple than the previous ones, play any character you enjoy playing or needs a level or two. That's it.
The only required skill that all players must have is the ability to use the PC dice bag, for that is how the highly coveted items are given away to the players. In general, the player who rolls the highest on 1 d100 on the global shout chooses his loot first and then so on, down the line. On a rare occurrence, a tie will happen, and when it does a second roll is made to break the tie. For further instructions on the dice bag, see below.
One Day, I will be able to lead one of these raiding parties,
A book by,
Dire Consequences
Player notes: On the dice bag, to use, right click the dice bag and select option 10 Roll Misc: Die/Change Settings, then select option 2 (Global), this will take you back to original menu screen and once again select option 10 Roll Misc: Die/Change Settings, then select option 9: d100, and your random dice roll will appear in the dialogue box and will shouted for everyone to see.
