Hi again.

I’m going to be asking a series of questions in this thread.

Basically, as I learn more about 12DS, the more I want to know.

If the answers are already “in game” just direct me to the relevant place and I’ll seek it out.

Weapon choice:

Most servers favour some weapons over others.

For example- the Katana usually doesn’t have great epic weapon variations.

Are there any to avoid?

Such as the exotics, Kukuri, Katana etc.

The hand axe?

Give me a bit to get back to you.. with information, sorry for the late reply been super busy recently and its getting worse.. but I will provide some information on weapon use's

I’m enjoying learning the world.

And if I pick something that’s useless later in, I can always relevel at some point.

These are the weapons people tend to use:

Hammers - Any Class

Kama's - Any Class

Short Swords - Any Class

Great-Axes - Any Class

Doublehead Axe <-- comming soon

Bastard Swords - Any Class

certain Daggers <-- mainy used by Rogues/shadow dancer class'es

LongSwords <-- Banned - but some do drop.

Single hand WarAxe <-- mainly wrote for dwarven defender but there might be a few around for other classes to use

Long Bows <-- great way to point towards Arcane Archers

Magic Staffs <-- Wizards/Sorc

Kukuri & Katana's have not been wrote in but if its an option for players would like to use.. I can try and put that option in.


Each weapon has there uses. - some weapons are hard to come by.

Ah.. Katana and Kukuri are my favourite choices.

Also hand axe and Scimitar.

I see Scimitar is covered in the “books”.

Scimitar's are a good choice also..

you will be able to find one, once you have touched the tree in the Druid Grove..
