The ring of Water Breathing

Hi All,
    Many of you are probably wondering what rings are good to wear.  And to be honest, there is not a simple answer to this simple question.

    Why? you ask? well the reason being is that each class and player are unique and the rings of 12DS are not one size fits all.  One might be able to argue that the HC melee classes are because they probably are wearing the HC signet ring and the mithril ring.  And there might be some logic to this line of thought, but my HC fighter is using the Bloody Stings UW weapon.  So other than the +20 regen, the mithril ring is just cosmetic.  Casters are probably wearing the demon bone ring or two of them, the extra spell slots they provide can be the difference between being victorious, or spending time in the temple recovering from the wounds inflicted by the Elderkind.

    For those who like exploring off the beaten path, I am going to tell one how to get the ring that will let you explore areas one never thought possible.  This ring is called the ring of water breathing and can be found in the docks west of the temple in TCwaN.  Once on the Docks map, find Captain Ross along the southern section of the map, once you talk to him he will inform you of some trouble he is having on his boat.  Enter the closest boat to the captain and find the Leopard that is causing the captain distress.  Once you kill the Leopard and return with it's pelt to captain Ross, he will give you a ring of Water Breathing.

   Once equipped this ring allows you to survive in the tutorial Water in the library, and if one wants they can use it immediately by helping Kelina and her husband.  As a reward for recovering Kalina's clothes she will give you 2000 gold and 300 reg xp upon returnong them.                                          
   
    I hope this helps some players learn how to get a valuable ring and some easy gold.
