Warrior on the Go Cookbook Quest
Part 1 (Why in the 9 Hells Do I want this)
Part 1 (Why in the 9 Hells Do I want this)
So……….you finally decided to get your back pack organized for exploring and put things away for good use. Weapons here, flint for making fires to keep you warm while chasing Elderkind, potions, magic items etc.
But your always hungry and tired after doing battle and need something to “stick to the ribs”…….
There’s a book, a WONDEROUS book, that you can claim for your own, that will DEFINITELY increase your boot to Elderkind butt skills in a jiffy!
Alas, its NOT simple or easy to acquire………but WELL worth it to complete and have for your own cooking expertise.
Presenting Part 1 – Of a 4 part series to acquire Zion’s Cookbook.
- WHERE??
To start this quest you will need to speak with the current Cook / Chef in cross blades at the Dragon’s Lair (He is located North of Sling’s Dragon next to the big cooking pot – Cant miss him)
Speak to him and he will direct you to contact Lisa (A waitress in the inn that you are in)
After speaking with Lisa, she will direct you to purchase some items from Barry the Bartender
Note: Ensure you purchase 5 of EACH item! then back to Chef Zion to get started.
- WHO??
YES! You will now be speaking with Chef Zion if you choose to continue. Keep your eye on the prize and work hard, this book is worth it!
- WHAT??
The first part of this quest will be to get you own set of cookware made. (Chef will NOT let you burn up his tools so you will have to make your own! – Ask Him your self and get cussed out.)
This will be your first list of items to get:
- 5 Bars of Iron (Tim Freemason – The Freemasons Workshop directly outside of the Temple on the Right)
- 1 Leather Hide (Tim Freemason)
- 1 Leather String (Tim Freemason)
- 3 Pieces of Copper (For the bottom of the cook ware – These can be obtained from the Plain of Couporus or purchasing from the private shop in Cross Blades for $309822 GP)
- 1 Piece of Bronze (to etch your name on the handle - These can be obtained from the Plain of Brazen or purchasing from the private shop in Cross Blades for $583200 GP)
- 1 Mithril Tool (to etch your name on the handle - These can be obtained from the Foundry in Mithrilfin – Speak to Kimli Ironbright and have 5 Mithril Chips to obtain one)
- 15 Small Bottles of Acid (to etch your name on the handle - These can be obtained from Aurum’s Consorts the middle portal in The Plane of the Elderkind by killing Elderking Midwives)
- NOTE: Level 20 to enter here!
- 3 Mithril from Aurum’s Heart (to make the non-stick surface – This requires a DDS (Deepest Darkest Sanctum Run) to defeat Aurum and loot his heart from his corpse - hehehehehe)
- Seek out Waitress Jane at the Grey Gargoyle Inn for a set of spoons (YOU CANT COOK IF YA DON’T HAVE SPOONS!)
Once you have these items return to Chef Zion to begin your training. After every dish you will receive an item to help you on your way to becoming a Master Chef!
STAY THE COURSE! PART 2 COMING SOON!
HAPPY COOKING!
