7 Doors East or "Traps'r'Us"
On the East wall of the room with 7 door are a pair of doors that lead to the aptly named "7 Doors East". This area is a maze of tunnels that is absolutely snided with traps and locked doors. A decently skilled Rogue is required for adventure here, and with a high enough skill level he can make considerable cash from recovered traps. The tunnels are largely deserted except for the occasional Minotaur like "Maze Guardians" which have a magical "Bolt Attack" as well as their Great Axe. They don't drop anything when killed.
There are 2 areas of interest within this maze. At the eastern edge is a large rectangular room guarded by 3 Maze Guardians. Watch out for floor traps when engaging these. The loot is in a locked crate which has multiple layers of traps protecting it. Inside are a number of trap kits and a very nice Rapier called "Deadliest"
The second area of interest is entered by a Subterranean Passage in the South East corner of the map. This room is guarded by a number of "Stone Chippers" which are a type of Cockatrice. Odds are you will get petrified for a number of rounds, so a high AC and a good number of hit points will help you survive the periods when you are defenceless. The loot in the room is 2 "Piles of Magical Stone" but you need a "Claim Hammer" from Tim Freemason to get any of it. When you take some "Magic Stone Ore" to Tim he will give you 800GP and a new Claim Hammer.
