My notes on Decadence/Den of inquity.
If you're looking for a book how to do Decadence/Den of Inquity then this is NOT a book for you.
This is a short list of what type of enemies you can expect there and how to quickly dispose of them.
Fortitude value is without the d20 roll.
Homely Demon
Death spells (Fortitude:27)
Wizard/Sorcerers you can use Bigby's Grasping/Crushing hand to stop them from casting greater ruin and make them attack you normally.
Repulsive Demon
Death spells (Fortitude:22)
Gruesome Demon (Reflects damage)
Death spells (Fortitude:27)
Hideous Demon
Damage spells/Damage on being hit
Not critical hit immune. (Fortitude:27)
Ugly demon (Explodes on death)
Death spells (Fortitude:27)
Corpulent demon
Damage spells/Damage on being hit
Wizard/Sorcerers you can use Bigby's Grasping/Crushing hand to stop them from using spells/abilities and make them attack you normally.
Drunken demon (Explodes on death)
Damage spells/Damage on being hit
Death spells (Fortitude:42)
Enemies here may be enhanced with the following combinations of buffs:
Increased miss chance 80% (less chance getting damage on hit, It's like trying to hit a target with 80% concealment)
70% Concealment
Extremely high saving throws
Various damage reductions (elemental/positive/divine for example)
Extremely high AC (yes you will need to make attack roll of 20 to actually hit it)
Damage on being hit
Temporary Hit point
Increased attacks per round
Attack bonus
Spell Immunity
Movement speed increase
Damage bonus
Tips on handling enhanced enemies:
Always have a few alternative sources of damage. Example: Enhanced Epic spells, Dragonbreath via Masteries, Sequencer with Death armor/Elemental shield/Mestil's Acid Sheath.
Use Ugly Demon/Drunken Demon, make sure enhanced enemy gets hit by explosion.
