This is a breakdown of the works of the celestial smithy. To reach the smithy, you must be at least 20th level, and ask to go from the temple in The City with a Name. There you will meet the being with the ability to forge these wonders, provided you have the requisite material requirements.

Celestial Staff - Base Item - Quarterstaff

Material Costs
Rod of 7 Parts (xref manual "The Elderkind Planes" section Emeraude for collection of parts, full rod is automatic upon collection of all 7 parts)
Silent Death(This is on the 3rd plane of the Elderkind. Sling's Dragon can provide access for 15 Young Elderkind Claws)
Staff of the Magi(This is acquired in the Beryl Grotto)

Benefits
+6 Enhancement Bonus
+12 Positive Damage
Bonus Spell Slot Wizard and Sorcerer 7th level, 8th level, and 9th level
+20 Concentration
+10 Spellcraft
Greater Dispelling 3 times per day
+5 Regeneration
Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage resistance of 15 points each

Celestial Arcane Staff - Base item - Magic Staff

Celestial Staff - See Above referenced section for acquisition costs of that
2 million Gold Coins

Benefits
One Handed(For Medium Sized creatures, sorry Gnomes and Halflings)
Three Bonus Spell Sot Wizard and Sorcerer 7th level, 8th level, and 9th level
+20 Concentration
+20 Spellcraft
+10 Regeneration
Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage Resistance of 20 points Each

Celestial Double Handed Axe - Base Item - Double Axe

Material Costs
Knight Double Axe
Double Headed Axe
2 million Gold Coins

Benefits
+9 Enhancement
+5 magic, positive, and slashing damage
On hit ability drain (Strength and Dexterity)

Celestial Shield - Base Item - Large Shield

Material Costs
Queen Beetle Shell - The queen beetle in the Eastlands has this item
Golden Kite Shield - (xref manual "Acquisitions from the Golden Planes" for retrieving the shield)

Benefits
+12 AC bonus (Shield Bonus)
Mass Heal three times per day
Negative Energy Resist 10 points
All Misc Immunities(Critical Hits, Death Magic, Disease, Fear, Knockdown, Level/Ability Drain, Mind-Affecting Spells, Paralysis, Poison, Sneak Attack)

Celestial Helm - Base Item - Helmet

Material Costs
Golden Helm -(xref manual "Acquisitions from the Golden Planes" for retrieving the helm)
Gorg's Skull - (xref manual "The Traitor Gorg" for how to find him. Turn in 10 Gorg Heads to receive this item)
Trectous's Helm - In Underworld:Decay and Underworld:Decay - Quarantine you can sometimes acquire one after killing a Putrid Demon
Black Cap - (xref manual "The Elderkind Planes" section about Melomine)

Benefits
Immunity to spells 6th level and below
50 points of cold damage resistance
+10 Concentration
+5 to all saving throws
All Misc Immunities(Critical Hits, Death Magic, Disease, Fear, Knockdown, Level/Ability Drain, Mind-Affecting Spells, Paralysis, Poison, Sneak Attack)

Celestial Cloak - Base Item - Cloak

Material Costs
Well Keeper's Cloak - (xref manual "The Ancient Ruins and the Ancient Well Water" for location of the Well Keeper)
Gift of Shadow - This is acquired in the Beryl Grotto
Cloak of the Burning Sands - This is acquired on Plane of Aurum:Whatur's Prison

+5 AC(Deflection Modifier)
+5 regeneration
10% electrical damage immunity
Immunity to Knockdown, Fear, and Critical Hits
Spells: True Strike, Barkskin and Divine Favor 3/day each
Improved Evasion

Bastion of Hope - Base Item - Longsword

Material Costs
Beacon - Bastard Sword from The Giant Hills:Large Cave held by Lorak the Ferocious
Hint of Lightning - This is acquired as a chance drop from either the Mist Dragon at the end of the book Tutorial:Air or from an
Mar-Vell's Longsword - (xref manual "Ancient Gate Lock" for the location of Mar-Vell)
Mithril Weapon Tool - This can be bought for 5 mithril chips with a high enough favor from the people of Mithrilfin

Benefits
+6 Enhancement
Keen
+2d6 Lightning & +2d6 Sonic Damage
25 points of lighting damage resistance
2d6 massive criticals

Celestial Armors

Note - The Apothecary Tree Armor and Demon forms of the Armor provided a reduction of XP and gold loss on death/respawn that the celestial armor no longer has. The special damage effect of the demon armors are also lost

Costs
Basic Armor of Choice (Demon Leaf Armor / Demon Twig Armor / Demon Bark Armor / Demon Scale Armor) - xref manual "Gear from the Underworld" for acquisition of the patterns and equipment to make each armor)
2 million gold coins

Benefits (as per the smithy)
+12 AC
+12 Regeneration
+12 to all saving throws
+2 to all Stats
10% negative energy immunity
Spell:Elemental Shield Unlimited uses per day
Improved Evasion
